Finance Accounting Staff (Central Sulawesi Project)

To implement financial policies for budgets, cash management, grant and donor accounting, project auditing, and accounting/financial reporting ensuring compliance with established and appropriate policies relevant to the respective projects.

Responsibilities:
• Coding all staff transaction receipts and payments based on the standard of HFH Indonesia.
• Preparing general journal log sheet and data entry of Project into cash Bank journal.
• Timely maintenance & preparing Project journal.
• Monthly reconciliation bank account after sun system procedure.
• Managing petty cash.
• Daily checking balance and monitoring bank account.
• Preparing fund transfer for projects.
• Documentation of all transactions and all payment vouchers.
• Provide accounting services for the Finance Department and assist in reporting and analyzing all the financial information and financial statement.
• To assist Finance Accounting Manager to review daily project transactions before posting them to system (SUN).
• Get involved in monthly closing process, preparing journals, reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts and preparing grant/donor reports or other management reports.

Qualifications:
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma (D3) in Accounting, Bachelor’s Degree, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required skill(s): accounting, accounting software (SUN system will be an advantage).
• Have knowledge of Indonesia Taxation and audit experience will be an advantage.
• Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity, and physical stamina.
• Strong and demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, and grant accounting.
• Microsoft excel intermediate-level user.
• Willing to travel to Project site and temporary relocation if needed.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Indonesia.
• Having experience in NGO will be an advantage.
• Proven integrity and good character in relation to stewardship of resource and accountability.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Communication and reporting skills.
